Épocas descartadas - ¿Quizás para una expansión?
Durante las sesiones de “tormenta de ideas” que hicimos cuando diseñamos Time Wanderer, se nos ocurrieron muchas ideas como niveles de juego, siempre pensando en la historia de la humanidad, claro.
Para épocas muy antiguas, hay muy pocas referencias, así que tenemos que empezamos a recurrir a la literatura clásica, leyendas y mitos e incluso a la biblia.
Historias como la batalla de Troya, el gran diluvio universal o las leyendas de la formación de China durante la Dinastía Shang estuvieron sobre nuestra mesa.
Al final, una historia sobre un gran diluvio, provocado por los Ro'tul, los antagonistas del juego, fue planteado, pero acabamos descartándolo porque no aportaba mucho a la historia global del juego.
Sabemos que nuestro tiempo y recursos son limitados, así que tuvimos que plantear recortes. ¿Quizás en una expansión si el juego va bien?

Times / levels discarded - Maybe for an expansion? During the "brainstorming" sessions we did when designing Time Wanderer, we came up with many ideas as levels of the game, always thinking about the history of humanity, of course. For ancient times, there are very few references, so we have to start to resort to classical literature, legends and myths and even to the bible. Stories like the battle of Troy, the great universal flood or the legends of China's formation during the Shang Dynasty were on our table. In the end, a story about a great flood, provoked by the Ro'tul, the antagonists of the game, was raised, but we ended up discarding it because it did not contribute much to the global history of the game. We know that our time and resources are limited, so we had to propose cuts. Maybe in an expansion if the game is going well? Would you like Time Wanderer to have a level based on the great biblical flood?
